Synopsis: "Brekky With D. Bunny" is a fresh, dynamic musical spin on the classic Breakfast with the Easter Bunny... only our rabbit's got swag! Miss Elliott & the Kids are celebrating Easter... [sigh] again! But, there's a WHOLE NEW BUNNY hoppin' into the scene... and he ain’t Peter Rabbit!

 

With Original Music & Reworkings of old classics, Brekky with D. Bunny is an immersive experience for all ages promoting self-pride, self-advocacy & the idea that embracing something different can be amazing."

 

Seeking:

 

Miss Elliott (Lead Role)

• Age Range: 40s-60s

• Gender: Female-Presenting

• Ethnicity: AA (Specifically seeking to capture the essence of Missy Elliott in a traditional, matriarchal role)

• Description: A matriarch stuck in her ways, with a strong, commanding presence. Think Missy Elliott made traditional. Must have a strong stage presence and excellent comedic timing. AWESOME role for a talented Drag Star.

• Skills: Acting, Light Singing, comedic timing, strong vocal presence,

• Special Notes: Please highlight any comedic or character acting experience.

 

Jackie (Supporting Role)

• Age Range: 20s-30s (but playing younger)

• Gender: Female-Presenting

• Ethnicity: Open Consideration but BIPOC Individuals sought for cultural understanding of roles

• Description: One of Miss Elliott’s “Children.” A bit of a kid, the "toddler" between the two. Energetic and playful.

• Skills: Acting, comedic timing, physical comedy, dancing (optional).

• Special Notes: Please show off your playful side in your video submission.

Babs (Supporting Role)

• Age Range: 20s-30s (but playing younger)

• Gender: Female-Presenting

• Ethnicity: Open Consideration but BIPOC Individuals sought for cultural understanding of roles (Seeking a performer with the energy of Aaliyah & Left Eye)

• Description: "Hype"-er active backup bunny. High energy, rhythmic, and stylish. Must have strong dance skills and a vibrant personality.

• Skills: Dancing, rapping, strong stage presence.

• Special Notes: Please provide a dance demo or video showcasing your hip-hop dance style.
